-I have lived here for only a couple months so far, but you can't beat the location. Commercial planes fly overhead frequently into Love Field but that's expected in a large city like this. There is a Starbucks, post-office, many restaurants, cafes, and bars within walking distance. It's not too hard to get to highway 75. I wouldn't recommend shopping on the other side of 75, it seems to be a bit sketchy- especially at night.
-The pool is small & quiet. Unless it's mid-day, the sun usually only shines on 1/2 the pool area & the rest is nice & shady.
-I strongly recommend reserving a parking space close to your apartment. The elevator sometimes is out-of-order and parking on the ground floor while your apt. is on the 5th may be a hassle- especially if you're trying to run out the door. Parking spaces are very close together & it can be tricky. Don't speed in the parking garage! I've almost been run over a few times but just because people can't see you well if they're going over 5mph!
-If you want the quietest part of the complex, choose one in the middle that faces one of the inner-courtyards- I haven't needed any earplugs like some of the other reviews had mentioned!
-The Lobby has big cushy couches too! & a great coffee/tea-maker :)
-Haven't needed much staff attention, but they seem nice enough.
