I Wish I had Done my Homework - this place sucks

I have lived here for 6 months and all I can say is I wish I could get out NOW. I have made numerous noise complaints to the management here and to Gables Dallas office and none of my complaints have been addressed.
We were told things prior to move in (lied to) about what maintenance would do.
Upon move in, the place was not cleaned, the walls were not painted and even included old nails from the previous tenant. The locks were old and not changed and they couldn't even find our second key. We moved in on a 90 degree day and it took two days for them to get our AC working (it was broken).
The gates rarely work and the gate keys are usually broken or don't work at all.
The construction is EXTREMELY cheap. Seals in the tubs are basically gone and all maintenance does is a quick patch, rather than fix the problem.
The entire complex needs a paintjob and the tenant base is starting to get sketchy.
The location is great, so people will always be in line to get in here, especially my unit - front door on Cole, two and a half story loft - definitely not worth the 1700/month.
My advice - STAY CLEAR OF THIS DUMP. I am getting out just as soon as I can.

I agree. I'm getting out as soon as my lease is up. I've hated this place since day 2. After 3 months of my lease, I had numerous problems with maintanance issues that went unresolved, several noise complaints that went unanswered and God only knows how many times mine or my friends cars have been towed because we couldn't get ahold of anyone at the office to get a stupid tag. This place really sucks.
