Living here is the biggest mistake! Today, someone (who obviously has access to my garage door opener) came in to my house through the back door without knocking, or letting me know! I do not know any place that lets their staff walk into someone's apt without notice. When I told them what happened, they acted like I did not hear what I heard, and basically tried to make me sound like I was lying. I am appalled at the customer service at this Gables. I have never had to talk to this management in this little amount of time that I've been here.

I live here, too. I got a note that said they'd be coming into our apartments for some work or something. However, they should NEVER enter without knocking first. If I were you, I would have called 911. Anytime someone comes into your place without knocking, you never know what it's all about. Don't stop and ask questions. A thief isn't going to tell you the truth anyway. And if the office denies knowing this person, how do you know it wasn't a thief?
