Do not move here. As stated before, crime is terrible and they do nothing about it. I have had two car stereos stolen and two bikes stolen. Each time the manager apologized but does nothing about it. They hang up signs that say lock your car - thanks. They also send out a flyer on how to stay safe and one suggestion was park in a well lighted area. The lights in my parking garage have been out for more than 4 months. I complain each time I pay rent. They act like they write it down, then say "parts are on order" and nothing happens. They refused to give me a copy of the work order.
The garbage shoot is always backed up with trash. My apartment smells like pot and its not me smoking. All of my neighbors are gangsters and thugs. Lots of noise at night in the parking garage. The gates are always broken so all the drunks come in and park to go to deep ellum. They towed my brothers car when he was visiting because the visitor tag fell off, but they never tow anyone visiting Deep Ellum. The security guards are a joke. The apartment manager told me that if my car didn't have a broken window there was no way for the security to see anything wrong.
