I have been living here for 5 months now, and I have never had a problem with anything. I have submitted a few work orders and they were all completed the next day while I was at work. You can even submit them online 24-hours a day. The one time it wasn't done the next day was on the weekend because the maintainence crew is off, but it was completed first thing on Monday.

As far as parking, I have found that there is ample parking. There are reserved spots which I did not spring for, but there is still plenty of covered parking. I've never heard of a visitor tag. I asked management about it when I moved in, and they told me that there are no tags and visitors just park on the top floor. My friends have been parking up there whenever they come over with no problems.

The gate is broken more often than I would like, but let's get real. Anyone that wants to get into a gated community can simply follow another car in there. Management tries to keep the parking as secure as possible though by changing the gate code what appears to be every 2 months.

On weekends, the noise can be present some times, but for the most part there is none. I would strongly advise trying to live on the third floor though. I read all the bad reviews about the overhead noise and requested the third floor. I hear absolutely nothing. I wouldn't know I had neighbors if it weren't for the cars in the parking lot.

The neighbors I have seen seem like they may work at Baylor Medical center down the block. They all seem very upstanding and nothing resembling the thuggery images portrayed by other reviewers.

Keep in mind that you are living downtown. I have seen homeless people around the apartment, but never within the gates. I constantly see security guards on the weekends when I go out and return. It makes me feel very safe living there. I was awoken once to a lovers' quarrel outside my apartment and when I looked out there the security guard was telling them to go inside and keep it down. This was at 5:30 in the morning which was a nice site to see they were still there.

I may stay another year. It depends on if I am ready to get a house when it's time to move out. I would strongly encourage you to look at these apartments for yourself. If you call ask for Holly too. She was awesome for us when were looking and went out of her way to get us into some apartments which they didn't have models for the floorplans.
