Since I have lived here at Gaston Yard, the maintenance is always timely, the grounds are well kept and the management is excellent. Every time I go into the office, the girls are extremely service oriented and always make me feel welcome! I would recommend for anyone looking for a positive living experience to look here.

The girls in the office must be selective, because everytime I go into the office I am completely ignored for at least five minutes before they help me, even if it's just to hand them a rent check. You give parking a 5, but don't you have to walk a long way to your apartment from the parking garage? And have you had to park several floors off the level you live on because all the parking spaces were taken? I have several times. You also put a 5 on construction, but I've had things break in my apartment. I have also found these apartments to be very cheaply constructed. Floors creak and everything is made of plastic-faucets, counters, bathtubs, etc. As for noise-no where near a 5. Upstairs neighbors that you can hear every footstep, and make you wonder if a herd of elephants actually live above you. Noises can be heard from the street and Deep Ellum, even if you live far from them. And I have a hard time feeling safe in an apartment complex with homeless people regularly wandering around outside the gates. Not to mention in a gated complex where gates have stay open for over a week at a time. And the only reason I can think of for this person to give the office staff a 5 is the fact that they either are the office staff, or are desperate to make friends with them. Funny how you mention nothing about the actual apartment, just the grounds and office staff. If I managed a complex that I had to write fake reviews just to get it to 29% recommended though, I would do the same thing.
