Great Apartments

When looking for an apartment in Dallas, I couldn't find a great place to live that wasn't completely overpriced-- until I found Gaston Yard.
My floor plan and rent really made me select this property over all others. I found the office staff to be great and very easy to work with. As far as noise, I didn't hear a thing from my neighbors or the street, with the exception of emergency vehicles but thats what you get when you live a block from a major hospital. I didn't think parking was a problem, however the parking gate situation could be better. It was often broken and left open, but I never felt unsafe. In fact, the building I lived in often had Baylor police driving through which made me feel even safer. Any problems in my apartment were fixed within 24 hours and fixed correctly. The only problem I faced was that the act of moving in and out was difficult. I lived on the 3rd floor and you could either climb up 3 flights of stairs after a long walk around the pool area or go through the parking garage to get to the elevator. But that is city living for ya, and it would be much worse in a place like NY. The only reason I moved out was that I moved out of state, but I have nothing but high praise for the complex.
