The apartment was pretty and management was OK. They did lie and say we were getting new brown carpet, which we asked for, when in reality there was grey carpet in the apt. They did replace it though with brown. The water pressure in my bathroom was almost nonexistant, and the managment wasn't able to fix it. There was an ant problem too that they never fixed. Then there was the gate. The gate closed on my car, and my roomates boyfriends car too. Denting both. The apartment said it was my fault. My car was broken into, and my stereo was stolen. I saw cars with their windows broken out probably once a week, and noticed most of them seemed to be on the top level of the parking garage. I started parking down a level even though I lived on the third floor. I had a rocking chair and had a noise complaint filed against me because they could hear it, so I had to stop rocking in my chair after 12 am. They did hire police officers to patrol the buildings and they were always very nice and I believed they really tried to do a good job with the crime and break ins. I always saw them around and they would talk to us about what was going on around the buildings. But, overall, I wouldn't live there again because of all of the car breakins. Also, me and my boyfriend once saw one in progress, and the guys looked very scary and sped off in a beat up old car. I was afraid they would come back and try to retaliate because we did get their license plate and report them to the police.
