I like it here From: Kristie712 Date posted: 4/4/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   I lived at Gaston Yard apartments from 2000-2002 and now I'm back in 2008. I haven't really noticed any significant difference from the time I've been away. The staff has been very friendly, and the apartments look the same, just older, and some normal wear and tear. The noise from the street is the same, but that's what you get with downtown living. I love the location of these apartments. It's so convenient to everything, although so many of my favorite places in Deep Ellum have closed... Once the construction from the Dart Rail is complete and the new lofts that are being built are complete this area will hopefully come together and feel revamped.
