Well that might as well be what the sign above says. I have a lot to share so we'll get started:

Office was nice - Had decenst curb appeal considering the area. Floors are very thin. Lots of noise. We could hardley fit into a parking space. Then we bought a Miata and we were ok. Our truck was broken into, probably because the gates only worked a total of three times in the year we were there. Told the office - nothing happened. I went to do laundry one day and there is a rug on the floor saying "walden: we care where you live" then i went to the washing machine and there was ---- in it. Great.
I noticed everyone prior had a similar complaint, i must agree, the office NEVER answered the phone. They have an automatic answering thingy and you have to leave a message. I never, not once, recieved a return phone call. We moved into a one bedroom and was qouted a price and it ended up being something else. I was qouted one thing them when my boyfriend signed the lease, it wasn't what we were qouted. (that could've been prevented by us though)
The new apartment had raggedy carpet. The dishwasher had rust on the prongs. Health violation. Three windows wouldn't stay opened. two of our new neighbors did drugs and one sold drugs. I was sooo embarrased when company would come over and you could smell weed. A group of rough men always hung outside our door. I remember seeing them work really hard on the grounds one moring. I came home for lunch and saw the manager walking with an inspection person. That's the only time they REALLy cleaned up. Tis true, you pay for your own water. Our ac went out all the time. maintenance sucks. When we moved into our second apartment they failed to tell us that they wern't changing the locks. The old tenant came home and UNLOCKED our door and busted in. He started cussing and threw things. I pushed him back out and put my foot up against the door. He was trying to push it back opened. Finally i got it and locked the dead bold that is only accessable from the inside. I called the office. No answer of course. I reasoned with the man throught the door. He waited outside while i went to the office.... The lady was very calm. She had to find her coke and candy bar before she would go back to the apt with me. While she looked for her diet coke, I called the police, who had already made the man leave when we finally walked back to the apt. Then they changed the lock. I should have persued a law suit, but o well. i complained to the manager and told them I wanted to move out. They said pay the reletting fee. I said no. They said yes. I emailed the District manager she said pay the relletting fee. I told her of my experience, but she didn't care. i was SO mad so I went online and found the management company, Walden. I emailed every property they owned, including the one I was at as well as every corporate associate and executive in the company. I also copied the investors (that i could find) as well as local news stations, the Texas apartment association, and the better business bureau. They said I was violating my lease by saying bad things about them and since I emailed them from my work email address (that was stupid of me) that they were going to contact them. They did. I work for a bank in downtown. Green's Crossings had emailed FOUR positions above my head threatening to withdraw thier accounts from the bank. i was called into a meeting with my manager and several other bank executives. They told me that they replied to the complex stating that I would be coached on using my work email for such business, however, if they felt the need to withdraw thier accounts they were more than welcomed to do that and that if I needed any legal support that I would have access to the Bank's Legal department and the attorneys there-in.
Green's Crossing made me stay out my lease. I moved before my lease was up but continued to pay. they with held my deposit.

Do not let them misslead you into thinking it's a great community. Email me with questions: ryanraycooper@yahoo.com
