Please disregard the last comment about lower income people. All apartment complexes welcome and houses all income types some people do not want the hassle of owning a home when they can have someone else fix the problem's in there place of residents. So please do not take any offence to the last reviewer. The property is a decent property. I have personally read a few of the reviews and see there are many changes needed at the property. I am a prospective buyer and am looking to buy this property. If you have more complaints please let me know at McCullough2004@sbcglobal.net. So I may see want needs to be taken care of. Please do not write me about the staff because I will be bringing in people that are competent enough to run the property.

The staff here is very competent, obviously you have not seen the property or you would know that. it is very well maintained clean and neat.Maintenence is usually very good and i applaud the manager for trying to keep some of my dead beat neighbors in line and make this a nice place to live. you must not be very intelligent if you beleive the crap you read on this web site. don't you know these review are mostly from disgruntled x employees and people that have trashed their apartments.i know first hand this is true i know people that have done this on purpose and besides it is may and you still do not own this property do you???????

Hello to everyone! HERE IS A MUST READ!!! Yes I just moved in about a month ago. I had a maintenence walk into my apartment without ANY notification! While he was there I asked him to take a look at my washer b/c i had not recieved any hot water, as a female i figured he would be able to fix this problem as i had been doing laundry since i moved in with only hot water! So he got it working and hooked everything back up. I started my next load of laundry around 7 next thing i know i have a knock at my door and i go to answer it and realize my apartment was flooding, and this is what the knock was about! Fast forward a couple days later and i come home from work to find a note on my door stating that i have to pay for the repair cost around $200 dollars, this is not a problem but i can't justify paying something that isn't my fault especially when it states in the lease IN BOLD I MIGHT ADD: Unless the damage or wastewater stoppage is due to our negligence, we're not liabe for--and you myst pay for repairs. WELL SOUNDS TO ME LIKE THERE LIABLE! Ends up there maintenance ISN"T ALLOWED TO TOUCH WASHER & DRYERS IF THE PROPERTY DOESN"T OWN IT! SO WOULDN"T IT VOID EVERYTHING IF HE TOUCHED IT AND THEN IT FLOODED! YEP, EVEN MY LAWYER AGREES! WE WENT TO PAY RENT (my boyfriend) on 6/1/05 and the property manager refused to take our payment and threathen to EVICT us in 30 days unless it was paid in full (repair cost rent) so know we are all in this HUGE uproar... NOW FAST FORWARD TO YESTERDAY 6/2/05, I seeked legal counsel and learned my TENANT RIGHTS and I strongly suggest everyone should (www.tenant.net) anyways I learned that 1.) THIS PROPERY MANAGER COULD NOT THREATEN TO EVICT US AND ACTUALLY THATS AGAINEST THE LAW! 2.) THEY CAN'T COME INTO YOUR APARTMENT WITH NOTIFICATION, AND THE LAW STATES IT SHOULD BE MUTAL NOTIFICATION. When I went down to discuss this with the property manager, because I didn't appreciate the threats and also harrassement my boyfriend had occured the day before. She was on a conference call so I delt with anyother rep. Jason i think his name was. He was VERY NICE & he worked throw everything, SO I THOUGHT, he told me that my boyfriend threaten to sue thats why they threaten to evict us, well it doesn't work like that. We threatened to sue b/c we can't justify paying the repair cost. SO i then left the office, they accepted my rent check and all was clear, especially the part that they could not enter without notification. My boyfriend wanted to make sure that they were clear on this b/c he was woken up to a maintenance standing in our living room! (THE ONE THAT CAUSED THESE DAMAGES) and he understood that they HAVE TO GIVE notification but accidents do happen (meaning we weren't notified) he justed wanted to make sure it doesn't happen to us. When he went down to the office (after me on 6/2/05) the property manager, who i wanted to speak with, was avaiable so he talked with her, he was VERY CALM AND DIDN'T RAISE HIS VOICE, however this lady got very upset and said he OWN THIS BUILDING WE DON'T HAVE TO NOTIFY YOU AT ALL! HE then asked her to read a piece of paper stating the law, saying they need to notifiy the residents and make sure it is a mutal notification. THIS LADY JUST STATED SHE DIDN'T CARE AND THEY COULD COME IN AT ANY TIME! What she didn't realize is what he just read her was legal documentation! He simply said then you will be receiving a letter from our lawyers and you might want to check out your customer reviews online becasue there very poor! Also in the state of texas you have the right to shoot someone if you feel threaten if they walk into your property without notification . NOW THIS DID NOT MEAN WERE GOING TO SHOOT ANYONE! WE DON"T HAVE A GUN WE JUST WANTED TO LET THIS LADY NOW! WHAT WOMEN WANTS TO WAKE UP TO SO STRANGE MAINTENANCE MAN IN HER HOUSE!!!!!!!!!! My advise, DON"T MOVE HERE! THE APARTMENT LAYOUTS ARE GREAT BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT IS EXTERMELY POOR AND ISN"T WORTH IT! The CSR Jason stated to me they don't want to be the property thats know for suing it's residents! REMEMBER THIS! IT THROW UP A HUGE RED FLAG TO ME!!!BEWARE YOU DON"T WANT TO END UP IN A NIGHTMARE LIKE THIS ONE! |
