I just moved out of those apts and it wasn't soon enough. It's like living in a ghetto, and getting worse. The office staff are partial to ---------. They also have an attitude problem and not very helpful at all. The maintenance is very slow and they fix things halfway and the cheapest way possible. I had mold on the ceiling above my tub. They did a halfway job of sealing it and repainting - and then the paint didn't match the original paint. It looked awful. The tenants are pigs. They play their loud music at all hours in their apts and their cars. They throw all kinds of trash on the grounds. Kids run free and streal things off your patio. They also write graffitti on the walss of the buildings. The post office has to get a signature on all packages because of the theft problem. The laundry rooms are filthy. The washers and dryers are borken most of the time.
There's a nice side and a ghetto side. Naturally, the model apts are on the nice side.
The buildings are old and falling apart due to lack of maintenance. The creaking and groaning from settling is awful, and keeps you awake at night.
Pest control is a joke. They supposedly treat every Monday, but I seriously doubt they do anything but come into your apt and leave a note saying they've been there. I had an awful time with cockroaches, spiders, ants, and carpenter ants.
My advice: keep on looking and pass up that whole area. Even though the prices seem reasonable, you pay in other ways.
