I'm so thankful that my lease is almost up and I cannot wait to move. Last Novemember I walked into Haverly Park office to inquire about an apartment. The assistant manager Chris was pretty nice, but of course he had to be because he wanted me to rent there. Being from out of town, I really didn't know much about the area nor apartments in the Dallas area..He told me that these were great apartments and if I wanted to hold an apartment that I must put down a deposit...after I gave him a check for the deposit, he told me that I will not get my deposit back if I choose not to move in...well, why didn't he state that before I gave him my desposit'

First incident I had: I was originally suppose to move in January. I go there on the date that they told me to move and the people in the office did not know I was moving in on that date, nor could they find my lease....Finally, they do another lease for me and another assistant manager told me that since I'm not moving in on the 1st that I have to pay $899, but my rent is less than that. Didn't make since. So I choose not to move in on that date and had to wait to the 1st of Feb. to move in. I was new to the state of TX, so that was a really inconvience for me. Thankfull I had one friend in Dallas that allowed me to stay with her until I could move in.

I moved into the apartment and the paint job was a mess. My utility door was broken, my dryer that I rented, the light in my kitchen dosen't work at all times and I've called to have it fixed and they have yet to come and fix it and as I'm writing this, the light is still broken. The walls are sooooo thin. I hear my neighbors walking above me. I can tell where in the apartment they are because I can hear their steps. I even hear them having sex and talking. When they turn on their shower, I can hear it LOUDLY. Their are stay cats everywhere....and parking is horrible. If you come home on a late night, don't expect to be able to find parking.

Also, there is a ant problem....the only benefit to this apartment is it's quite and the area is nice...but Haverly Park as an apartment sucks like crap and I can't wait to leave here.
