When my wife and I looked at Hidden Bend, we were leary because of the negative reviews left here. We decided to take a look anyway since there were just 3 reviews, and they were all within a month, over a year ago. We looked, liked, and moved in. We've only been here a handful of months, but we very pleased about the property. Apparently, the owners got wind of how poorly the management company was running the property, so the owners (a nice couple from the West Coast) moved to Dallas, fired the mgmt company, and took over...immediatly making improvements. That was about 7 months ago.

I wont lie to you, it is a property built in the early 80's, and that's evident in areas. However, for the price and grand location...it's well worth it. We plan to be here a year, but that is simply because we want to buy a house.

We live in one of the 1/1.5/den units with a backyard. The owners are VERY pet friendly. The property Gate works 99% of the time, the manager (and most of the tenets) are very friendly, and the maint. staff is good about responding when needed, extremely close to both the galleria and ValleyView malls, a target, Dallas North Tollway, Beltline, Preston Rd., and numerous ratail shops.

All in all, we are glad we chose to live at HiddenBend.
