We loved this place when we first moved in, but lately the management is destroying this place from the inside out.

My husband and I moved here over a year ago and loved it. The management was nice (as other reviewers have mentioned) and I felt safe.

There's new management now though, who ignore you to talk on their cellphone when you go into the office -- if you can even manage to stop by when they feel like being open. Not open on weekends, now only open M-W-F for a few hours, and they're not even there then. The women I've spoken to have been overwhelmingly unwilling to do their job.

The apartments are old and dated, but I don't mind. I like the apartment itself. It's cute and our cats love the stairs.

However, like other reviewers, our A/C and heating bills are OUTRAGEOUS. Our A/C unit has broken during the heat of Dallas summers more times than I can count, although the (nice) management at the time offered to put us up in a motel until they could fix it during a particularly bad part of summer. Now I doubt they would even return your call.

I no longer feel safe. I have to go up stairs to get to our townhome, and more often than not there's one of many men standing at the bottom of the stairs with a hoodie with the hood up. At night. I don't know what they're doing exactly. My mother apartment-sat for us not that long ago, and she was afraid to leave the apartment when she saw one of them standing down there because it was dark and our porch light hardly works.

We suspect that the new management has begun allowing Section 8 people to rent, because our neighbors are getting increasingly scary.

If management were to change back to people who actually considered that we pay their paychecks, this place would be fantastic again. As it is though, I can't wait until our lease is up.

I lived in one of the units last year and I moved out prior to the new management, however I was on Section 8. Therefore, a broad comment such as "Section 8 people are scary", is quite discriminating. The ironic thing is that you probably spoke to me and thought, "that is a nice young lady." lol. And No, I am not stating that all of the people on Government Assistance are house broken/civilized. Nevertheless, there are quite a few of us who are not scoundrels/women of the night with children walking in soiled garments, while we are shooting up/turning tricks.... Thank you for attention in this matter and have a nice day..... FYI: The next time you see mysterious sighting call 311, start a neighborhood watch vs. getting online trying to vent. Call the BBB on these properties, report them the housing authorities instead of just moving quietly. Have some backbone, and stop hiding behind these ratings. You make your quality of life and what you are going to accept in it or walk out of it. Thanks Again....
