Don't become a victim of poor living standards

I too, like someone else said in their review, was very excited about moving into my new townhome here. But then my quality of living began to steadily decline. The carpet was disgusting when I moved in. I was told they had cleaned it, but the grey stained outlines of the previous tenant's furniture led me to believe otherwise.

I was also very excited to have a small yard for my dog, but soon realized the lack of grass was going to be a huge problem. It became a mudpit when it rained. I had asked management if there was anything that could be done. I was told I could spend my own money to put grass in, which they said they had tried to do, but that it would not grow. They also offered to put mulch down, but then never followed through. Needless to say, the mud was an issue. Not only when it rained, but also when the complex would run the sprinlkler system.

I would have to say my most favorite part was the brown water in the master bath. I researched the issue online and found that it was an easy fix. Most likely the hot water heater needed to be replaced.

I called management to advise them of the issue (on the rare occasion they were in the office) and they confirmed what I had found out. I needed a new hot water heater. However, upon maintenance coming to investigate the situation, "the water ran clear" and there was no problem that they could see. They came out on 2 different occasions with the same result. I spent the rest of my time there cleaning the brown ring out of the tub after every shower. Nice thought to know that's what I was bathing in.

This place was horrible to live in. The parking is not adequate, and the staff is a joke. Rumor has it the entire place is for sale. I guess the owners can't hack the cost anymore and the residents are suffering because of it. Or the old owners sold it to a slumlord. Because that is what this place is, a slum.
