I am not a resident to this apartment ,but i come offen to visit my daughter who live in highland road apartments ....to me this apartment don't have any security to watch the community of the neighborhood...and the air condition doesn't work well and the carpets are not shampoo to look clean.....now my daughter can't move she had signed a contract for a year...,but i won't recomment anybody to this nasty apartment very poor etc etc....

i used to live here, but know i moved down the street. highland road village is in the 2nd worst area of dallas, western park,oak cliff. the residents are mostly (not that i have a problem with it im half dominican half black) ------- american and it has many fights between crips and bloods. parking isnt good. the apts arent safe at all, it is very noisy the apartments are more like the projects, the parking is bad, and gangsters roll through everyday. it HAD a small walking area in the middle with a path and a creek before it became full of litter, graffiti, and gang members hang out there... in other words... do not move there!
