I'm a new tenant, been here just a few short months and I can assure you this is the last summer I plan to spend in this environment. It's all bills paid, so I expected a few unpleasantries with that clause and I documented most everything I could find wrong with my apartment once I moved in. I didn't expect anything to get fixed, I just wanted the staff to be made aware that I wasn't impressed nor was I gonna give maintenance and contruction staff credit for the improvements I've since started to make. I signed a year lease, so I am taking some initiative to make it more inhabitable for myself and only me; I encourage friends and relatives eager to visit me to save themselves a trip to what I now refer to as the inferno.

Central air is always on the frits which produces humidity and a foul odor in the bedrooms, I've been without hot water on two occassions for a little less than a week each time, and maintenance men are about as useful as the lopsided balcony they stuck me with. Seriously, I haven't spent two minutes on that flanky platform yet. If you're just looking for a place to eat, sleep, and bathe, then I say the price is right and come on over. HOWEVER, if you're in the market for a comfortable living space in which you can host an occassional dinner or invite guests to visit with you long enough to watch a mere half hour sitcom in your secure and refreshing shag pad, I say...clear your social calendar according to the length of your lease, your people will love you for it.
