I signed an 8 month lease and I'm counting every day until it is over so I can move out and move on. To begin with, Hunter's Hill did not have my apt. ready on the day of move in. It had water damage to the ceiling including mold, urine on the toilet, dirty air vents and a drawer missing in the bathroom. Eventually these things were fixed, but no formal apology or compensation was made. The parking lots are extremely dark - walkways, too. My apt. was broken into during the 1st month of being a resident. There was no forced entry, so it was either maintenance or contractors who had been in the apt. and made a copy of the key. I switched to an upstairs unit because the office would not let me out of my lease. Last Friday I came home and the maintenance had left my door unlocked after changing an air filter at the request of the office. Thankfully, nothing was stolen this last time.

There has been a problem with roaches. I spray the apartment myself every week because whatever Hunter's Hill is doing is not working. I would not have moved in if I would have researched these issues more. Now I am stuck for another few months. Hopefully, noone else with the complex will break in, leave my door open or invade my privacy again. Until then, I say my prayers every night for our protection and safety from this dreadful place. And, so you know... this is my 3rd complex to live in and the first one I have ever complained about. On a positive note, yes - I like the floor plan and the location. Price is good for the square footage but not for the service, safety or condition. Thank you.

I think this sounds like someone that is just generally unhappy. Everyone that I live around and have met on the property loves the property and management. There are alarms in each apartment for the residents to use. Did this person? Probably not!

Im so sorry that I found your message a few days too late.... I experienced the same stuff.... but, I have just moved in and have not had my place broken into just yet.... My apt was not ready at the date to move in, water damage and mold everywhere, was shown an apt w new appliences-wasnt told those were extra, my apt has appliences over 20yrs old. Hallways arent so dark anymore, but the parking lot is. No bugs here-- not yet... your not alone in feeling miss treated in this complex.... the management, however is nice, and I do believe they are trying to fix the situation... just taking longer than I expected.

Sucky situation to have your apartment broken into within the first month. I never experienced situations were the maintenance staff left doors unlocked. The apartment management would have corrected that right away if they would have known, I'm sure.

here we have "noikr" and SJFletcher posting in favor of hunters hill once again.. how much are you getting paid bro?? for those of you who are just reading this, "noikr" has posts all over the reviews for hunters hill apartments.. if you have kids, please dont move here, there is mold in the AC/heater ducts , paint peeling off , and the bad smell in some units its just the beginning ... i said it before and i will say it again, just ask the residents of this "wonderful" overpriced and undermaintained dump...
