Hunters Hill Apartments

I lived here in 2006 under the horrible CAMCO management and they treated me like crud. They had an entire month to get my apartment ready and they couldn't even do that. The blinds in the living room were all torn up, towel racks were hanging askew, and even the stove was unplugged. The carpet smelled like a wet dog. It was disgusting. I had to leave the windows open for days. That was some stale shampoo, if it was cleaned, I don't even know. They did replace the torn up blind where people were trying to look in at night while walking their dogs supposedly. At least all the appliances did work considering they are 25 years old. The only good things about this complex are the square footage and the weight room has equipment that works. The apts. are large which means alot of people have roommates so someone is always home making noise. These people have the loudest TV's ever. I heard my neighbor's TV on the other side of my dining room wall every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Yep, all day long and night. When you ask them to turn it down, they turn it up louder. Yeah, that's real funny. The highlight of my stay was the couple having a screaming fight outside and they pushed each other into the pool. Well, that cooled it down....The only request I made of CAMCO if I could make a 3-month lease at the end of my original because I needed to move in 3 months. Oh no, don't ask them any favors, it has to be another 6-month lease or nothing. Don't ask them to work with you. They would be happy to let me stay the extra 3 months but it would be month-to-month only so my rent will be over $800 per month to stay. So, thanks to them, I had to leave my apt. and move into a Budget Suites of America for 3 months. Maybe it was for the best because I got treated better there anyway, the kitchen was newer, and I didn't have rude, noisy neighbors....... Anyway, to end this review, in all fairness, I think Hunter's Hill has a different management now so it's too bad I lived here under CAMCO. They were all about the money. They even kept my deposit and I gave proper notice and cleaned my apt. If they don't intend to return it, it's not really a deposit, it's an extra payment. I would never live in another CAMCO property.

Bologna. I had the option to renew from 3 - 13 months, at my same rate. I didn't need a 3 month option, so I chose 5. There was no hassle at all. The manager was totally cool with it and even gave me her card in case I needed anything.
Don't blame the complex for noisy neighbors. A call to the complex, or the police, would alleviate your disturbance problem. Hell, why not just knock on your neighbor's door and as them to tone it down a bit.
You sound like you're turned on by complaining.

I do not know who you were dealing with, but the management is not like this at all. The community is not noisey. People do not intentionally look in the windows. A lot of people do have dogs in the complex and are found walking behind the buildings - but they aren't peeping toms - so to speak. I am pretty sure they had a 3 month lease when I lived there - and they didn't increase the rent much at all ($15). I am sure if I would have asked, they would have kept it the same.
