I really enjoyed living at Hunter's Hill and would not mind moving back.

The downfalls weren't bad compared to others I have lived at.

The management is very friendly and very helpful. They loved my dogs a bunch and were very sweet. They always addressed any issues I had. I love the maintenance staff. One of the maintenance staff actually worked at a previous apartment complex I rented at. They are very courteous.

When I lived there, we did have some break-ins. The apartments were great about it. They even had a community meeting to address the issue. Even with the two break-ins and stolen car, I still felt very safe. They have a constable that lives there who patrolled NIGHTLY. I get home from work at 2AM and he would always be out, so I didn't worry about my surroundings. He would stop anyone that was walking around, sitting in their cars, or that was suspicious.

My apartment was well kept. I didn't have any issues with it at all. My neighbors were very friendly and quiet. People in the community looked after each other.

The one thing that irritated me was the dog poop. I have two dogs and I always cleaned up after them. Other residents would not and I would step in it all of the time. That was somewhat frustrating. Of course, that is not the apartments fault.

The planes can be noisy, but I loved the sound. They planes DID NOT shake my apartment when they would fly overhead. Depending on the plane though, you would feel slight vibrations. I thought it was cool. :)

The parking wasn't the greatest unfortunately. It's nice to have an assigned covered parking spot, but if you have a friend visit, they generally have to park a ways away (this was around the mailboxes).

Oh, and I was able to keep my motorcycle under the stairs in the hallway. My neighbors didn't mind and it was a nice way to keep it out of sight. Never had an issue with anyone messing with my motorcycle. In fact, a lot of people in the community had motorcycles as well. :) One time though, my friend's motorcycle was parked by the dumpster and someone stole his license plate. It did not cost a lot to replace, but I wouldn't keep it in a spot where someone can stay out of sight while stealing your license plate. ;)

The laundry facilities are alright. I used them a lot because they were attached to my apartment. The downfall was everyone used them so it was hard to catch a time the washers and dryers were available. And one downfall was they removed most of the washers and dryers even though everyone made full use of all of them. Not sure if that was the community's decision or the washer/dryer company's. I noticed they do it in other complexes as well (the washer/dryer company).

I miss the place, for I am living in a very unsafe community right down the street now.

how can you downplay break-ins and a stolen car? I don't see how you can still feel safe. I'm glad i moved out of that mess. I don't think you are aware of all of the break ins. I lived there 11 months and my building had a total of 12 units. 5 were broken into! Management did not notify me or my neighbors that this occurred. Also as i wrote before, my friend's car window was smashed in and a bunch of stuff was stolen. I had a drug dealing prostitue that live right below me. i always feared that my apartment might blow up. absolutley crap. did management pay you to write that?

I kind of have to agree with jamstar25 ... This sounds a little too good to be true. The airplanes sounded wonderful? Umm, ok ...
