I have lived here for almost 2 years, i've renewed my lease about 3 times, and each time rent has risen about $20 a month for my 1 bedroom, now with the next lease signing they are raising it $50, I spent about 2 months of research for apartments in this area before i moved here, because they were the cheapest rent with the most square feet, and now I feel you can probably get a better deal elsewhere. Other than rent rising, I have had no problems. The bathtubs are DEFINATLY the nicest I have seen. I get compliments all the time on my bathroom. The people are cool here and ive made a few friends, ( Im age 22 male ). There is all kinds of people living here from college kids, to old retired couples. The outside noise is not bad at all, i rarely even see anybody hanging out outside. THe dog park is HUGE. The pool and hottub are nice and well kept. The workout GYM, well lets just say it has a few free weights and some treadmills ( if they work ). Theres a dart bus stop right outside the gate which is very nice.
I live up front near the office, and you get lots of road noise from Skillman, and the complex next to Huntington is seriously in need of some help, cops and sirens are always going off over there. The past 6 months I have had 2 crime/murder notices on my door, and probably 3 total since I have lived here. Car vandalism is about normal for Dallas.. maybe one or two a month for the whole complex. The maintenence is very fast and get things done right, the office staff has changed 3 times in 2 years, but these new people seem very nice and helpful. I will most likely be moving out due to my rent being raised every month, but if you have to have an apartment in this area, defiantly check these out, especially the 2 bedrooms they are still very competitive.
