HIgh crime rate, very dangerous place to live. If you enjoy ghetto life, you will love it at Huntington Lakes! Management continually changes, but service stays horrible!!! The newest "------" manager is about as smart as you'd expect her to be......not so much. Ok, she'd be just as bad if she were -------- or a --------. Maintenance comes when you call them, but they do more damage than good. If you're a single mom, move here, the bookkeeper ---- will let you slide on rent as long as you have kids....she charges everyone else lots and lots of late fees to make up for it. They moved in all the Section 8 people from Whisper Creek, so it is a nasty place to live now and you are surrounded by criminals who are quite at home here. They do not always run criminal background checks, although they claim they do or the criminal gets a relative to sign the lease. Felons love it at Huntington Lakes. Security is a joke, they don't come when you call them. It's noisy all hours of the night - gunshots, music, cars, police cars, ambulances. Management does not respond to ANY complaints regarding the dirty property although always promises she will, screaming, fighting neighbors, the police are here chasing criminals all the time, someone is always stabbing someone else. TWO WOMEN HAVE BEEN ROBBED AT GUNPOINT!!!!!! You can confirm with Dallas Police. Save yourself....go live someone safe. The management staff LIES, LIES, LIES!!!!! Stay away from CNC Properties....every property they own is a dump...check it out for yourself!!!

This guy is an idiot! I have lived here for 2 years plus.......It is an excellent place to live in. There are no section 8 people here......even if there are, what dirt are you talking about moron~! I am happy you are gone. It is unfortunate anyone would try to destroy the reputation and good life of such a nice place. My only problem here is that they have to do more to replace all if not most of the gym equipments........They are outdated and most don't work right. Apart of that, security is fine, places clean, good management and constant night patrols. There are just a few flaws like in every other good complex.....I love it here! By the way, I know met someone at the leasing office who was rejected because of background check last year. So to the best of knowledge they take care of that!

I agree with you completely. This complex is a DUMP!!!! Repairs don't get done. Security is nonexistant, I'm not even sure if they have any!! Promises are made by the management that are not followed up on.

First off making judgemental comments about "------s" is about as smart as I assume YOU to be... not very. I have lived here for six years and have always had prompt service and maximum security on my home. NUMBER 1, you live in Dallas... off Skillman... did you really expect ponies and rainbows? For Christs sake you live in a notorious "ghetto" place to begin with. Huntington Lakes is the most normal place you could live at, it actually takes you away from the ghetto, but again (YOU CHOSE TO LIVE AROUND THE GHETTO). Anywhere you go there will be problems with criminals, it doesn't happen as much as you say, you just HEARD about those times and took it upon yourself to let everyone know its "going to happen to them!!!!" .... and the chances are yet very low. I'm thinking you probably either got fired from CNC, got into a fight with one of the management staff, or didn't pay your rent and wanted to "get away with it" so now you have a chip on your shoulder. Next time leave your baggage at home when writing these, stop being selfish and look at the overall view of Huntington Lakes. And I assume your a woman... take some midol.

You are an idiot. You can't even spell judgmental. If you truly believe "all is well" on this property, then you are not acquainted with the FACTS. I am certain you feel right at home at Huntington Lakes and I'm glad you found a place to fit in, I'm sure you are as nasty as the property. There are two police reports regarding two women being held up at gunpoint on the parking lot at Huntington Lakes within the last year. You don't have to believe me, call the Dallas Police Department and confirm with them, if you are brave enough to deal with the facts, not just your fantasy opinions. You must work for CNC. The property is filthy, the manager is in over her head, she doesn't have the background to deal with the kind of issues on this property and apparently doesn't know where to go to get help or is afraid of losing her job if she asks for help, whatever the reason, things have gotten worse since she started work. She runs and hides when there is trouble. A real leader is needed to make positive changes, she should go back to Highland Park where there are not these kinds of serious issues that need immediate and experienced attention.

FYI... This ad was posted by someone who was fired from the property. I will not go as far as she did by posting her name here, although she did post mine. I wont even respond to the things she has written, they are so far "out there". If you are reading these because you are interested in living at Huntington Lakes, all I can say is please come by and check it yourself... Its a great place.

These people are not lying. This is a TERRIBLE place to live. I read this just before moving in and disregarded it. Now I'm really wishing I hadn't.
