Everyone is right, this WAS a great place to live a couple of years ago. The management company has their eyes set on what the neighborhood wil be and what they will get to charge for rent once the new DART station and high scale retail development is finished. They increased the rent $50 a month (they wanted $75). I grudgingly agreed to $50, with the agreement that they update and fix the apartment I was in. They came and looked at the things, but then did nothing. I've had a leak in my ceiling for 2 years. I think they fixed the leak (or it hasn't rained enough) but the stains on the wall, the rotting baseboards, and the mold is still there. The other comments about the staff are dead on to. They are the least helpful, happy, smiling people I've ever met. This has the makings of a great complex if you had maintenance that took care of the apartments, a staff that was energetic, happy, and looked like they gave a damn about their appearance or jobs. When they see the mold, they tell you that it is just mildew. Well, mildew IS MOLD. Then they tell you that they will come and paint the moldy areas. I had two leaks in my apartment, it took them 4 months to replace the padding under the carpet, and didn't fix the hole in the ceiling or the water damage.
