worst experience of my life

I moved here June 2007 and absolutely can't wait to turn in my key at the end of this month. This building is a complete mess. Where to begin:
If you would like any sort of quiet after 10 p.m., don't move here. To describe this place as having a frat house atmosphere is fairly accurate. On my floor, there is loudness, video games and music cranked to the max, and loitering in the hallways outside my and others' apartments to the point that I have had to complain at least a half dozen times. Management talks tough but they're chicken when it comes to dealing with the possibility of having to evict a nuisance resident. The jerks that surround my loft are complete losers who do nothing but smoke pot, play video games all night and have an endless parade of fellow losers in and out of their apartments.
If you live on the west side of the building, prepare to have to put up with terribly obnoxious cover bands that play outside the Urban Cafe and Bar on the ground level Thursdays and Fridays. Various drunk and rowdy bar patrons will also make their presence known to residents. The windows will not insulate you from this racket.
I have found puddles of dog urine in the stairwell, cigarette butts littering the common area and various garbage that sits around for days without being removed. The garbage dumpster has also reached the overflow point several times. The parking garage and stairwells are filthy, filled with dust and dust bunnies. There are cars with flat tires in the garage and the so-called security gates are constantly being trashed by the drunk idiots who frequent this building.
Oh, and no wonder the Urban Market grocery store has yet to turn a profit -- it's way overpriced and doesn't carry half the things you might need. I shop at grocery stores in Uptown and off Mockingbird. On that note, it's worth mentioning that downtown still doesn't have much to do -- a couple of bars and a few restaurants. Nothing compared to Uptown, Greenville or Addison.
Please, in the name of all that is good, do yourself a favor and don't move here, no matter how good of a deal they seem to be offering. It ain't worth it. As for me, I've learned my lesson -- bye bye downtown.
