DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
Our apartment was broken into in less than a month after we moved there.
There was NO security guard to patrol the area. I saw cars with broken glass atleast once a week while walking to my car. Even after many car theft they did not use security officer.
There is a very limited number of parkings, residents have to pay $25 to save an spot, if you have a guest that arrives there after 10pm ther is no parking for him/her, even though they don't have security at night but they have someone to tow the cars 24/7 even residents' cars.
Rats in the area, garbage everywhere, pet excrement in the breezeways.
And this is the last straw. We've had issues since day one, literally. The day we moved in, the carpet was filthy and had not been replaced (per Texas law).
They have lost packages, which is no surprise. If you walk into the management office, chances are it will be unattended. Walk a few feet into the clubhouse area and you will find tons of unclaimed parcels sitting in the hall just waiting to be stolen.
Management is incompetent and rude. They left a note on our door telling us our lease was coming up for renewal and it was postdated by a month. After we were robbed, we asked if we could take a few days to think about renewing our lease. We were told that it was not their responsibility to remind us that our lease was up for renewal. Actually, it is. It states it in their own lease, which they are apparently unfamiliar with.
Also the manager Misty is very nice before you sign the lease, and she becomes very disrespectful and chnages her words after you sign the lease.
