Safety: I feel unsafe. I walked out of my apartment at 7am to see my nephew standing 10 feet from a dead man and a gun. I have found my car broken into twice. I have yet to see a security officer. The security gates have not worked in the year I have lived here. I have had neighbors held up by gun point. I have had men come up to my apartment and shake my door knob trying to get in.
Maintenance: I have rarely had timely service with any maintenance request I have put in. I find the lady at the desk in the maintenance office extremely rude. You leave knowing that your request went in one ear and out the other. Thats if she even acknowedges your in the room. My carpet was flooded, my toilets break once a month, my dish washer doesn't work, mold is everywhere, and the paint is chipping which means its probably lead base since it's so thick. HEALTH HAZARD
Front Office: Rude. When you call they pick up with an attitude. They lost my money order for my rent which was a nightmare then charged me $120 in back rent until it was found. I hate the new staff. The previous people were dumb but these people are just mean.
In conclusion I would not recommend these apartments to anybody. If you are a woman, elderly or have children its a safety risk and you are a target for crime in this neighborhood. I have 15 days left on my lease and I am counting down the days.
