Would sign another lease

Before I signed a lease, I checked this website out and read all the reviews, but they all sounded the same and they were all things that could be easily fixed. I signed a lease and moved in and my first couple of weeks was really great.. Then it started to go downhill. The neighbors were extremely noisy, they threw trash onto my balcony, left cigarette butts on my car and various other things. I spoke to management a couple of times and things would get better for a couple of days and then go back to the way it was. I finally decided that I was fed up with it, spent a couple of hours in the office and got a property transfer. My new neighbors make hardly any noise, I don't feel alone or nervous when I'm walking from my unit to my car and I'm pleased with the service I've gotten from the office staff. Yes, there are some things that could be fixed, but no matter where you live, whether it's an apartment, a rental house or a home of your own, there are always going to be problems with things falling apart, your local security and your neighbors. The only difference is that your neighbors are a lot closer here.
Oh, and in response to the complaints about the broken gates: Who cares' When you have a complex this big, there's not really a need for gates. There was a time when all the gates were working and a friend of mine couldn't get in. All she did was pull over to the side and 30 seconds later, someone who lives in the complex drove up, opened the gate and let her in. You can't stop residents from coming home whenever they want to come home and fixing all the gates isn't going to keep anyone out.
I really hope the re-zoning petition doesn't go through. I'm definitely looking forward to signing another lease and living on this property until I'm ready to buy my own house.
