Honestly, I'm sick of reading stories about people blaming there own shortcomings on someone else. This isn't the newest complex and as such if you decide to live here you should be prepared to encounter commonplace issues that arise in any living environment be that an apartment or your own house. It's hard to be empathetic with all the whining criticism because I've lived here for almost a year now and have enjoyed living here very much. My air conditioning system broke down one day (---- happens) and when I called and left a message with the maintenance office, I got a knock on the door within 10 minutes of my call and the problem was fixed by that afternoon. The ladies in the office have always been courteous and very friendly to me and know me by name. I was one day late with my rent once (my own fault) and explained what happened and they waived the late fee for me. I didn't go in expecting it, or demanding it, i was just honest and made it clear i was completely ok with paying the late fee as it was my fault but would be grateful if they could overlook this one time, and they did. Goes to show politeness still works! I can't stand people going around feeling this sense of entitlement and treating everyone as if they are there to serve them never taking ownership for their own mistakes.

Stop playing the blame game!

I have huge apartment that i'd be paying at least 300 dollars more for in other complexes. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Yeah but our electric bill was almost $300. My parents own a home nearby and don't pay that much!

I agree the electric bill it rather high. More than what I paid last year in August somewhere else, this bill was from March. Also, one can find that Ritz off of Park Lane. :)

I accepted the problems that come with old properties when I lived there. What I didn't accept was the apartment below us sitting in raw sewage for 2 months before they finally allowed us to move just to shut us up (after calling us liars multiple times... I grew up in the country. I know what raw sewage looks and smells like, and that was the real deal). Being old and run down is one thing. Living in a slum is quite another.
