We didn't get notice on the moving until July 3 and the whole complex has to be evacuated July 31st. What they did was wait and tell those in intervals. In other words when your lease was up. Therefore we had less than a month to find a place and come up with the money for deposit and everything. Oh and our notice was giving to us on a flyer when we walked in regarding some repairs we needed. Is that what you call notice' I mean if we were moving and didn't give proper notice we would have some sort of late fee to pay, etc. Oh and the best part they waited until after we handed them the check to tell us. Wonder if we will see any of our deposit returned' Buy the way everyone they have known about this for 6 months. When I asked why they didn't tell everyone then the response I got was they did it in intervals. Don't you think that by tell us to begin with some of us would not have been so rushed and would have been able to save up for moving expenses' In all honesty I am glad to move. They weren't fixing anything we had been asking them to fix for months and when I asked about that the reply I got was there was no use in trying to fix that because that is the whole reason they are being torn down. Well -that isn't what it states in the lease that we all (including management) have to abide by. I will never rent another apartment from this management company ever. They had the nerve to have flyers for those to move to some of their other complexes they own but again my question to them was if you treated us this way here what on earth makes you think that I won't be treated that way at another one of your complexes. You think I would have gotten a clue when there seemed to be more parking spaces and seeing all the moving trucks but I was under the assumption people were just sick of the way they were being treated by things not getting fixed the pools always being nasty and closed. We were just waiting to save up for the move to make things easier and for our lease to be up. Now we are scrambling to hurry up and get out before the 31st. Good luck to all of you who have lived here.
