HORRIBLE!!!! SERIOUS SAFETY AND PRIVACY ISSUES! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/9/2007 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2007   I made such a horrible decision to renew my lease at this apartment! The management is rude and very unprofessional. The lights were out for over year all around the property, which made it scary to walk around alone. Maintenance were always showing up without ANY notice. There's no telling how many times they were in my apt without my notice! Kinda CREEPY! There were several break ins that occurred within a few months, and the property did not notify their residences. It wasn't until these series of break ins that they decided it would be a good idea to go fix the lights on the property! Also, the doors on the property that require a clicker to get in randomly break all the time. i gaurentee that there is ALWAYS one door that you can just walk in through to get into the property. Maintenance has 24 hour/ 7 days a week access to your resident keys and access to the office itself and the room were all resident packages are kept,and there are no cameras or proof to show that they have even been in the office. Not to mention, there is a machine to make duplicate keys RIGHT NEXT TO the drawer of resident keys. And did I mention there are NO cameras anywhere around that area! There are only two cameras. Both in the workout area. Both facing ONLY the equipment. They aren't even facing the doors to see who comes in. If I were you, I would do background checks on every one of the employees before being binded to this lease. It's not like they would tell you the truth if there were previous evictions on their staff and maintenance. Although the apartment floorplan itself was beautiful, when I moved in it was not clean at all. I had to clean it myself! The microwave and oven was so disgusting, and it looked like someone threw up all over the blinds. The management is very unorganized! DO NOT MOVE THERE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT! For what you pay, I would recommend checking out one of the properties around west village, like Post West village. Those are nice, and have very nice staff. AVOID JPI MANAGEMENT! If they are anything like this one, you'll want to stay away!
