Most things are nice.

I chose to live in Manor House because it was close to my job. Plus, ALL BILLS PAID. My rent for a one bedroom is $925. However, I recently found out that they will be adding a surcharge for electricity. An additional $75 a month. It seems like they would lower the rent a little if they are making us pay for electricity now.
For the price I pay, (which is alot cheaper than most apartments downtown) you would think they would put washer and dryer connections in the apartments. There are 250 apartments and not one has hook-ups. We do have a laundry facility located on the 5th floor.
The absolute worse thing about this apartment building is the parking. Valet parking is rediculous. I've seen my car parked on the roof of the parking garage with the door left open. My radio was stolen out of my car and the manager Ernie acted like it was my fault. He said he would not pay for it. I contacted the main office for the apartment building and spoke to his boss. My radio was valued at $750 and they gave me $500 for it. It costed me alot more to fix it because not only did I have to buy a new radio, I had to pay to get wiring put back in because when they ripped the radio out, they ripped the wires out as well. I sometimes have to wait 20 minutes for my car.
The concierge desk is amazing. Everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful in every way possible.
My last concern is the pet policy. Everyone highrise in downtown allows dogs no matter how big they are. Manor House has a 20 pound limit.
