Pros: Very convenient to walk everywhere.

Cons: Dirty, Noisy, Poorly maintained, Poor parking, poor security, car break-in's, I lived there from 2003-2008 and rent increased every year, despite the rapid decline of the property. When they did spend money on repairs, they were made to the areas that attract renters instead of the broken elevators, the gates that were always breaking (making me late for work on several occasions), dirty hallways and rubbage chutes, missing fire extinguishers etc. Residents actually receive tickets and boots on their car if you park outide the tiny (insufficient) gated area and are forced to pay $100 to remove boots. I could go on and on- remember, you were warned!
