The six worst weeks of my life!!! I moved into the Marquis on Saturday, July 10. The first night I spent listening to drunks yelling, glass breaking, cars honking, loud music, etc. Primo's restaurant and bar is quite the festive place most nights of the week until 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning. My apartment was on the third floor facing McKinney Ave. It was as if I had my windows open. I spoke with the manager the first thing on Monday and was told they had a 30-day move-out guarantee and I could receive all of my deposits back, including the application fee. To their credit, the manager did try to find me a unit in the builing to transfer to, but apparently anything facing the pool (all floors) has a the same noise issue. Even one of the leasing agents told me (after I moved in) that he lived on the same side as I did and "it is very noisy". I asked how he managed to get any sleep and he said he slept with the TV on. I also questioned a number of neighbors while I lived there, and was told that they had the same issues with noise. It is now three months after I moved out (end of August) and I am finally (supposedly) getting my deposits back. Apparently, the record keeping is as bad as the noise problem, and they couldn't (wouldn't') give me back me deposits until they decided how much I owed for the electrical for six weeks. It was almost $250.00 for 900 sq. ft. apartment. Hey guys, did you insulate the building from weather OR noise' Unless you party all night and sleep during the day, I would RUN from this place. Beautiful building and location, but you might as well live outside on the patio at Primo's!

You are so lucky that you can move out in such a short period of time. Did you sign a lease?
