I decided to bite the price bullet and move to the Marquis in June of 07. I thought with the sky high prices that most of the college kids would look elswhere, I was wrong. DO NOT RENT AN APT FACING THE POOL! Mngmnt states that the pool closes at 12:00am HA! If now one enforces this policy then no one respects it. Also don't expect to sleep in on the weekends if its even remotely nice outside, because the kids that live here will already be drunk at the pool and blasting at least 3 diffrent radio's. Also you will get a constat view of trash since these little bastards don't have their mommy to clean up after them and the management dosen't care. If you love to party 24-7 this is the place for you! If you are a young professional and would like to party a little and still keep your job, keep looking.

I have lived here for several years and could not agree with you more. This place is louder, trashier, and younger than my college dorm ever was. Instead of using money in budget to clean dirty carpets or paint walls, they host pool parties to further entice the young drunks to make more noise and destruction. Don't move here unless you are still in college and enjoy jello shots as your main form of nutrition. This place is utter hell. As far as the 12 am pool rule, that is a JOKE. Walk out on weekends at 330 am and I promise you will find drunk idiots at pool being obnoxious. And during the day on weekends, the pool resembles MTV spring break.
