I would first like to say that yes, every apartment complex or community has their issues but when you pay the kind of money that Mitchell Lofts has you paying, management should care about a whole lot. Mitchell Lofts is not a huge complex or big community property. It only houses about 70 lofts in a 3 story building. There is a parking garage that is only equipped to hold 1 occupant per each unit. My first night there, my car was broken in to. Management claimed that break ins had never happened there before...Not true! A resident had their truck STOLEN not too long after that. As time went on and 3 different managers later, things got worse. I stayed on the 3rd floor and their was constant noise around me from televisions to stero systems. Dogs swimming in the pool and residents and their guest drunk, running into your car and just leaving!! Just about every night someone ran there dog back and forth on the roof with no regards to who was under them. Management did not care! There was never a place for RESIDENTS to park and at this time I used the lot in the back gate of the building which you had to have a remote to get in. I would have to say that the worst was management. They had so many rude managers in that office that to me did not care about the community let alone the residents. The manager there NOW is the worst by far! What did it for me was the second break in to my car that did more damage than the first break in...inside the closed gate that you can only access by code or gate opener. That was enough for me! Oh, did I mention they have a police officer living on site. I had a friend to stay there who had ant problems that they never corrected along with leakage from the window when it rained. The Lofts are wonderful and some neighbors were respectable and nice but when looking, make sure you find a good property...I did not say perfect but a place that fits your needs. Research and talk with some of the neighbors first. I would not reccommend the Mitchell Lofts to anyone that I know.
