I would recommend living here but you need to know some things first...
We lived in these duplexes for two years and never had any problems with maintenance nor any bug problems that were out of the ordinary. My husband and I felt safe but not so safe that we wouldn't lock our doors and never had any problems with crime. The staff were always nice to us as well. However, you need to know that you are responsible for minor fixes with the duplex after move-in. Some of the units are not well insulated at all. We installed uv film on the windows which significantly reduced our electric bill. We had a dog which we paid the non-refundable deposit fee upon move-in but they kept a carpet cleaning fee anyway out of our refundable deposit upon move-out. Also, they installed cheap plastic mini-blinds on the operable doors. These, of course, broke off around the door knob after two years of use. They ended up keeping some of our refundable deposit for this as well. These fees didn't add up to be much but I still felt it was a little unnecessary. Overall we enjoyed our time there. The backyard is a huge plus if you have pets. We were in a newer remodeled unit which was nice but we viewed some of the others that weren't so nice.
