Let's be real people! Apartment living is exactly that, apartment living! There will be noise and bad situations will arise NO MATTER where you go! If you are looking in the price range of what Park Gates has to offer, then let's face it, you don't have the means to live in a "five star" apartment complex. I have lived here for over a year and actually was referred by a friend who used to live here and they were just as happy as I am. I've already renewed my lease for another year. For older apartments, these are very well maintained! The apartments are nice and maintenance always responds promptly. Unlike my experiences with MANY other apartment offices the staff here is steady. I can always count on the same people being there rather than the staff changing hands as often as one would change a roll of toilet paper. The surrounding neighborhood is good as well, with condos, town homes and new apartments going up everywhere. There are a few run down homes to the East but they are slowly but surely being phased out. It's often that people who post negative reviews about places on the internet are usually too ignorant and inapt to accept things as they are. Not to mention that they knew full well that they were not signing a lease with a 21st century, Taj mahal apartment complex! With that said if you are looking for a comfortable and affordable place to live that is in one of the most expensive areas of Dallas, you will not find a better bang for your buck! I highly recommend Park Gates to those folks who might be a little less pretentious and a little more practical/realistic. Happy apartment hunting!

Unless you know the exact situation of the people who have chosen to post their reviews on this site, you really do not have the right to make judgements about them. That shows your stupidity. In the last week, there has been 3 car windows broken out in front of my apartment building here at Park Gates. I don't think any of the people who posted reviews were looking for a 5 star apartment. I do think that when you lease at an apartment, regardless of the neighborhood, etc., you have the right to expect that any reasonable needs will be met. I've lived here for almost 2 years. The only reason that I have stayed this long was the price. However, they have raised my rent 3 times in that time period. The last increase was to "keep within the market rate". If Park Gates is looking to keep up with the current market of this area, they need to update the apartments and provide security. In short, unless you personally know the people and the specific situation of each of them, you shouldn't bash them. I'm sure they're just giving their honest opinion of this apartment complex. Not all views are going to be the same as yours and I'm sure you find that hard to deal with since you seem to be a rather intolerant person.
