Stay Away

The apartments are nice, but the staff is horrible. They lied to us from the very beginning, claiming that the apartments were in Highland Park. If you look at the map, the complex is actually in Dallas, which means when you have your property stolen, like I did, you will be dealing with the Dallas Police Department. I had my motorcycle stolen twice at this complex. After the first time, they graciously allowed me to park in the gated parking garage. When it was stolen a second time, they charged me for the garage opener, even though I provided them with a police report! Talk about kicking someone while they're down.
Also, our neighbor's apartment was flooded from an overflowing toilet, and she was not reimbursed for her damaged property. Feces drained into her apartment, and maintenance took several days to fix the leak.
And finally, we left the apartment in much better condition than we found it. We cleaned it top to bottom in areas that looked as though they had never been touched. And management still subtracted $75 from our deposit.
We thought we were saving a little bit of money by staying at Park's Edge, but it wasn't worth it! The staff will be very kind to you until you really need them.
