These apartments are nasty and infested with insects. I have lived here for almost a year and I will not be renewing my lease. The management is a thief and liar who charges you fees and then cant explain where they came from. I am so disgusted with these apartments. They never fix anything on time. I requested my filter to be changed and the maintence man left it the filter sitting in my apartment when I asked why wasnt it changed the manager responded with I thought you knew how to change it. I dont and didn't. They are a bunch of lazy people. Management closed the night drop off box so if they dont have your rent when the office close they will charge you an additional fee. These apartments need to be torn down. I hate that I even moved over here. They are always doing road blocks. Please dont move over here and waste your money. They are wolves in sheep clothing.

dated 2-26-09 these apts are just ridiculous. the management is so screwed up. liberty is a scary ass woman who can't make decisions on her own without silvia telling her what to do. she has good dependable people who work their asses off but she is not satisfied she wants the lazy good for nothings to work. they don't fix a damn thing people are getting seriously hurt on this ragady ass complex and they are doing nothing about it. the whole complex needs to be shut down. there are so many code violations within this complex it's a shame. everybody needs to call code enforcement on these bastards. we need some new people in the office who can take care of business like it should be done. if anyone is talking about moving here don't forget these infested broke ass apartments. sincerely, pissed off

I'm not shocked at all by what I'm reading. I lived in Chaucer several years ago, from 2000 to 2002. I never had roaches in my apartment at all but it sounds like that has changed. The gate never worked. The manager at the time supposedly had a son selling drugs in one of the back apartments. I think his name was Bobby. My rent check got lost once. The crime wasn't so bad back then but there was drug selling going on. I would definitely never move back though.

I still live in these apartments, but I want to break my lease so bad. There is so much crime, trash, and people hanging outside all time of the night. The children climb the trees and run up and down the stairs where they don't live. I am hopeful because school have started back.
