Better places to spend your money

I have enjoyed living at the Renaissance simply for the convenience of location. My apt. is nice enough, but I pay a "luxury-style" price for "affordable-style" customer service. Those of you looking lease or buy from The Renaissance will be pleased with the location and the pool/workout area- all very nice. If the management team was half as nice or professional as some of the amenities this would be a great place to live. Unfortunatley, what is probably due to an unexperienced and poorly trained staff, this building is over 50% vacant.
What to expect at The Renaissance:
Unreturned phone calls from the leasing/sales office; frequently inoperative elevators; pets urinating in hallways, stairways, elevators; too-small parking spaces (everyone I know who lives here has damaged their car because of poor parking space)....just to name a few.

OTHER OPINION WITH ANONYMOUS. I LIVE HERE AND I APPLAUD THE NEW MANAGEMENT FOR GETTING THE UNDESIRABLE RENTERS THAT BEHAVIOR WITH NONCARING ATTITUDE FOR PROPERTY. THANK YOU

I currently live here and everything the reviewer says is true. This is a building that is being sold - renters are second class citizens and are not wanted. Very short sited for the management company since those who can afford these rents could also afford to buy.

My girlfriend owns a unit at the Renaissance and enjoys the amenities, location and her apartment, but again, the service staff is rude and uncooperative. They have left one of the secure doors broken and unlocked for 3 weeks, even after more than one resident and security informed them of the problem. Also, we had a plumbing problem late one friday afternoon (around 3 PM) and we had to literally beg the service manager to help us find a plumber. The bottom line is do not buy at this luxury highrise if you expect a polite and compliant staff.
