I just happened to read your comments, and noticed you commented on several other peoples responses. You see, I was the first person to write a comment about the Renaissance (yes, scroll down, and you will see my name). I lived on the 6th floor here in the C section of the property, over looking the pool. It was a beautiful apartment, and I do miss that. But I still don't miss having to carry my two Shih Tzus down the stairs when the elevators were broken, or the fact that everyone elses dogs would go to the bathroom in there. I did meet some great people there though (I dated the guy that lived directly above me, and we moved over to West Village). I also had high electric bills like the other person, it gets really hot when you are facing east and have all the sliding glass doors. The free cable was nice, do you still get that? The fact that I couldn't hang anything on a majority of the walls sucked (cement). The new appliances, granite countertops, and marble entry ways and bath were all very nice. But you have to understand Mike, when your remote won't open that bottom entry door from the garage, or someone is moving and has the elevator occupied and you have to walk down stairs with your 2 dogs, or you are woken up to fire alarms because some fool put a lit cigarette down the trash shoot, THIS all takes a toll on you daily. It's the day to day life that people want to know about. So yes, I'm sure people are being honest, and no I don't think they are all bitter. Obviously your few months here haven't been as taxing as they have been for some of us, but that is the point of this site, so everyone can voice thier thoughts. It sounds to me like you might be the bitter one. Did you just get a job with the property management, and are you a little upset someone is downing your company?? If so, Get over it, I'm sure the company would be embarassed by your comments.
