I moved into The Reserve around June 08 and I always try to write a fair review so here we go.

I personally like the apartment both outside and in.

The grounds are kept clean for the most part.

I think that the staff could do a better job at cleaning the dog park area but then again it is the job of the dog owner to clean up after their own dog.

I see people leave dog poop on the street and on the ground and don't pick it up.

Come on folks.

Is it really that much trouble to just take a bag and pick up after yourself.

You wouldn't want me pooping on your living room floor would you.

My apartment interior is really nice.

I have a 1 bedroom and it has become too small for my needs.

I am moving out soon because I don't want to pay more for the 2 bedroom.

My only complaint about the interior is that the electric bills are too high.

These town homes are 3 floors.

Garage on the first, living on the second, bedroom on the third.

The thermostat is on the third floor and since heat rises the air run's more than is needed.

My average summertime bill is $230.

Low is $130.

As for security I have had no break-ins.

I am a forgetful person and sometimes left my garage door open all day and cam home to find nothing missing.

I am not sure what other folks have experienced.

As for the security gate.

The main gate is broken all the time.

It looks to me more times than not that someone has hit the gate coming in too fast or drunk and knocked it off the rail.

The staff usually has it fixed the next day and then bingo someone else hits it and it is down again.

Last but not least, the staff has always been very friendly with me.

They hold packages at the front desk for you, they seem to be fairly responsive to my requests.

In every apartment I have lived I make a point of getting to know the staff and be as friendly as I can with them.

This tactic always pays off.

Be nice to them and they are nice to you.

Not so hard.

I have only had 2 maintenance issues with the apartment.

After I moved in the bathtub backed up.

I was unable to clear it myself and this happened over a holiday weekend so I was kinda stuck with bailing out water in my tub for a few days.

Also, there was a water leak next door and but it was in the garage and they came over as soon as I told them and fixed it.

Over all I have enjoyed living here.

The complex is nice.

There seems to be a lot of friendly people in the complex.

The staff has been great to me.

I would recommend living here if your budget allows for it.

P.S.

I don't work for this apartment nor am I in any way affiliated with them.

Just writing an honest review.

Have a good one!

Not sure why you had to specify that you don't work for the property - a little suspicious? I can say that I have lived at this property for 6 years and moved in when it was a Trammel Crow property. Trammel ran it like a first class property and the leasing staff was much nicer and helpful then. The Conner Group just wants to squeeze whatever profit they can out of the property and by doing this they are running it down. Trees and shrubs have died and not been replaced. The flower beds at the entrance of the property are now cheaply done and part empty unless you include the countless promotional signs that are there. Trammel never had any signs - they didn't have to. If the Conner Group's plan is to just milk it for what's worth then they are doing a good job. Thank goodness congress is extending the new home buyer tax credit. I'm outta here when my lease is up and wouldn't be surprised if other tennants don't take up the government's offer and get out as well. Good luck Conner Group maybe you'll have to apply for section 8 housing status because that's where the property is headed.

Well I put that disclaimer in there because for some reason if you put anything positive in your review people immediately think you are suspicious. Apparently no matter what I say people still think that. It would be pretty dumb to put anything negative in my review like I did if I worked here now wouldn't it. Also, I forgot to mention the shrubs. I was just thinking the other day that it would be nice if the replanted some of the shrubs in front of our apartments. That is not a killer for me though. I still think the grounds are pretty nice. The front entrance looks fine to me but they do put out those stupid signs to try and get people in and those signs block your view of the road when you are trying to pull out. Kind of annoying sometimes.

NIce try fake review person. You obviously work for the reserve because no one would say anything even remotely positive about this place if they lived here. Good luck on renting more units hopefully your fake review will fool someone.

I agree with the two of you that are not the original writer. This place is a dump now and had great management at one point. Now its just like the apartments across the street. Bye Reserve.
