first i went to the apartments to put a deposit down for my 6 month lease of a 1 bedroom apartment, then i came back the next day to close the deal with a completely different staff. the contract stated from february 2004- the end of july 2004, which from what my fingers tell me, is 6 months. well on my sixth month i wanted to leave because of terrible, loud, fat-floor-stomping neighbors and a staff that was never constant (i never saw the same staff member twice). so fine, i moved out and im living back with my parents when i get this out of the blue bill from rosemeade, for aparently leaving before my contract was up. after i signed all the papers with the first girl on the first day for one set date, the girl the next day made her own dates, even after i paid! and after i received notcies on my door stating that im to move out on 7/31 or pay an increased rent! now they want me to pay a grand for their clerical error' well, i hope they have good lawyers because i intend to fight this ridiculous bill. this place is a scam, they tried scamming me because im young (20).
