My fiance and I just moved out of The Saxony-we're so happy we left!

It's true about the fact that maintenance is quick to respond for minor things such as a light bulb but extremely slow and unresponsive to major problems. Our garbage disposal broke in November. I called the office and maintenance came and said it needed to be replaced. I called to follow up after Christmas and they said the disposal hasn't come in yet. Everytime I would call, I'd speak to a different person -they would "check on it and call me back" but of course no one ever did. Anyway we moved out May 31 and the disposal never was replaced.

We had a leak around the windows, maintenance said they couldn't fix it until the weather cleared up-by the time it did he didn't return.

Fire alarms sounded off in the middle of the night for 2 weeks and the staff didn't seem to see the urgency to fix them. It's always pleasant to be woke up on a week night at 3am hearing the alarm sound for 15-20 minutes!

Parking was really congested-narrow parking spaces which meant you had to squeeze in and out of your car. Kind of tough when you have your hands full.

Safety Issues:
There were cars being broken into. That's why 2 of 3 gates are locked from 10pm-6am.
That's fine but that safety feature only works when the gates actually work. Often times the Celestial gate will be wide open for days.

Maintenance entered our apartment while we were gone, when we returned home he had left his key in the door! I was very upset about this because anyone could have entered or taken the key for a later entry!!

School Traffic:
Leaving for work in the morning was a pain! We drove out the Celestial gate and the school traffic was horrible. Part of it is because there's a "traffic director" because on days she wasn't there it was much smoother.

Saxony does look nice and the wet bars are cool but I felt like the staff didn't care about it's tennants. As for our deposit, I hope they don't try to keep part of it because the disposal is broken!! :)
