I cannot be more pleased...

Regardless of all these negative ratings that I have read, I moved into The Saxony Apartment just past month. I could not be more hesitated when I signed my lease, to be very honest.
After staying in my new apartment for over a month now, I beleive its time for me to "serve the justice" so to speak, to express my pleasure in staying here. I am going to do so by replying to some of those previous negative comments.
1. Crime: Crimes are going to happen when them happen, regardless of where you are. They have nothing to do with the apartment complex. The main gate is not going to stop criminals from coming in, your own security measures do. For the record, I have not seen the gate broken once since I moved in. On the contrary, the remote control that the aparment complex gave me does not work very well -- at time, I have to click and click for like a minute before I am able to open the gate.
(Apologize to any cars behind mine, who have been honking me because of that.)
2. Maintenance: I have not experienced any broken items in my apartment yet (crossing my figers.) But when I first moved in, I requested to have my hot water heater turned up, and the task was done almost immediately. They even left me a note telling me that they entered my apartment. How considerate. Rats' What rats'
3. Fitness Center: One of my main motivation in choosing this aparment complex was the fitness center and racquetball court. I am a huge racquetball fan, you know (anyone looking for a racquetball partner' LOL) Why paying extra and drag myself to Bally or LA Fitness when I can walk 3 minutes and work out at the apartment's fitness center free' I like the fact that I am required to sign up for the racquetball court, so I know by the time I want to play, the court is mine. They are recently enlarging and remodeling the whole fitness center. The management office sent out notice and referred everyone to its sister property next door. They even give us the code to get in that fitness center. Isn't it another example that they plan ahead and consider all factors'
4. Parking: I am not driving an expensive car, but it doesn't mean that I like some other car doors to dent mine. My experience told me that most paring spaces in this aparment complex are wide enough for a regular vehicle. Moreoever, I never have any problem in finding a spot right in front of my building, regardless of what time of day it is. And most important of all, most of them are covered parking!
5. Management In General: Shortly after I moved in, I have received a bill from Richdale. I was like "What Da'" My negative experience started from my phone call to a not-so-nice lady at the Richdale Corporate Office, and being sent back to the apartment complex to get it straight. The positive side of the story came in when the lady at the aparment management office was so eager to assit, and assisted me in solving this billing error in no time. Look, we are all humans and we all make mistake. Just correct it and move on, alright'
On and all, my experience here at the Saxony apartment is extremely pleasant. I am in no place saying that other comments are not true, maybe I just luck out or have not experienced them yet. But until then, I am giving this apartmen a 5 out ot 5.

Are the A-hole that moved in and left your dresser in the breeze way for three weeks? *The gate on the North side is currently broken. *They gave ONE days notice for the gym closing for remolding and offered no completion date.

LOL that's the funniest thing I've ever heard. You must come home from work at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, because by 6 I have to walk half a mile to park. And spots are tiny and often big cars park in multiple ones because it's so hard to fit a truck/SUV into a single spot here.

Some things I agree maintanence responses are very fast, I love...PARKING? really it's horrible!...Rent is very expensive and apartments are tiny. The pool is only 3 feet. The gym has been in remodeling proccess for about 6 months already.

I HATE this place i have lived in here for a year now and my lease is up so i'm leaving!!! Thank god! First Gordon, how can you judge this place after being here a month give it time you will hate it. The parking is insane if your lucky enough to get one (talk about door dings) hope you dont have a new car. We were showed one apartment that we loved and recieved one with carpet that was all torn up, i have large CRACKS in the walls, there was paint spilt all over the kitchen floor, my alarm system does not work, it was not cleaned very good, half of the fitness equipment was broke and the gates are always broke. BE CAREFUL because i know that maintenance has entered my apartment w/o permission a few times, and there has been quite a few apts broken into Kinda scary BEWARE!!!

Gordon- Thanks for the positive review!
As for the last post, I'm sure Saxony is glad to have you leave.
You loved the model? And didn't see the one you were ACTUALLY getting?
Who's HUGE mistake was that?
All you have to do is put in a maintenance request and those things are fixed. And YOU should BE CAREFUL making such accusations and insinuations of the maintenance workers breaking into your apartment.
As for all of the previous complaints on the gym...you realize that the sister property is right down the road and has a wonderful gym.
The office staff was more than friendly enough to insist we use their's.
I love it here.
