This is the most poorly run and badly maintained apartment complex. Apartments are small, outdated, unsafe and overpriced. I lived there for two years and found another much nicer and twice the size for less money.

Safety is a strong issue. There is no on-site security. The gates are always broken. The neighborhood is full of gangsters and now the complex happily rents to them, so don't be surprised to see the saggy pants drug-dealer looking people driving up in their low riders and black Cadillac Escalades.

When I moved into my apartment, it looked like a classroom full of kindergarteners painted - paint splashed everywhere, big drips down the woodwork. Appliances are old. Cabinets need to be replaced.

The pool is always dirty. The tiles are broken and black with grease and there are big holes where the plaster has broken off in the bottom of the pool. The hot tub is usually broken, or the jets are missing so it just shoots out water like a geyser. On weekends, both pools are totally taken over by 20-somethings who play loud music, drink beer and never get out of the pool. So, you know they're peeing in the pool and management doesn't say a word!

The fitness room was a disgusting germ fest. They started a remodel that was supposed to take 3 months, but after 6 months doesn't look any closer to being finished than 5 months ago. They put a couple of treadmills, rusty weights and a broken bicycle in an empty apartment for everyone to use in the meantime.

They say this is a cats-only complex, but you should see how many dogs come out on the weekends. Plus, they expect you to keep your cat on a leash. Ridiculous.

While I lived there, I had an oppossum get in to my apartment and cause $500 worth of damage, my car was smashed by a hit and run driver in the parking lot causing $5,000 damage, and later my car was broken into. The management company does not care at all.

Management girls, and I do mean girls, are nice, but know nothing about property management, never write anything down and if they do, it's on a sticky note that gets "lost." The management company in Kansas is only in the business for the biggest profit they can make without having to fix or replace anything. Most of the time, you have to call the Apartment Renters Association in Austin to make them fix things.

And let's don't forget the repeated requests for the exterminators to get rid of the roaches and silverfish.

When you move out, they refuse to do a walk-through with you and then charge you for things you know were not there when you left. Stay away from this place!!!

Wow! Why did you live there for two years if it was that bad? I've never had a problem with roaches, or any bugs for that matter. You are a little out of line on the 'Cadillac Escalade' comment, the bible tells you not to judge. Hope that you are happier in your new home!

I AGREE WITH THE AUTHOR ON THIS ONE AS WELL.. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO MY WORST ENEMY THEY ARE RIP OFFS HERE.

Dear Anonymous who refutes every negative review - Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Their experiences with this place are their own and therefore, are true. Your arguing is pointless and basically, you're calling everyone liars! Nobody is going to believe your Pollyanna arguments when most of the reviews are negative and express the SAME PROBLEMS over and over and over! Either you are blind, have no life, or you work at the Saxony - probably at least two of the above!
