Saxony Apartments

I've lived in apartments for twenty years, and I'd have to say that this place is well below average, especially for the rent you pay. The construction is shoddy and the materials used are obviously cheap. If you happen to get the right person on a maintenance request, you may get results, but I've had to keep hounding them to get some things fixed correctly (in particular the air conditioner and thermostat). With one or two exceptions, the members of the office staff are disinterested and unhelpful. On at least three occasions, packages have been delivered for me to the office, and they never notified me that they were there. I called the companies trying to track them down, only to find that they'd been delivered and were sitting in the office. Also, the main gate is often broken and standing wide open. I got screwed out of most of my deposit as well. They charged me $52 dollars for nail holes after two people in the office (imcluding the manager) told me that I wouldn't be dinged for them, and a $50 late fee for rent back in May that was never late, as well as various other made up bs. I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone. I've hired an attorney. If you want to live at the Saxony, I would suggest retaining a legal team. Everything this person said is 100% correct. One of the worst apartment complexes ever (except The Courts right across the street).
