Since the new ownership, and the above mentioned "management" company have taken over, this property has steadily declined. As of today, 4-4-09, the grass is 75% dead, (the DHA projects nearby have better looking grass!), at any given time there are at least 3 ways to get into our "gated" community, gates broken, drive-in gates hit or miss, laundry room filthy, trash and pet stations not maintained, "maintenance" is currently some guy from Labor Ready who I have never seen with a tool in his hand, just wandering wearing ruts in the "grass". My truck was stolen twice from the secure parking lot (same truck-twice!). Those lights you read about in old reviews are still burned out, only now there are many more burned out. In general the property is falling apart, and Henry S Miller is incapable of managing the situation. I have been lied to by all of their managers, which to me is worse than a burned out light bulb. Been a resident for 3-4 years now, and the only reason I am staying is that my apartment and my neighbors are like an oasis, and I am capable of doing my own maintenance.

Unfortunately there are people that can not be happy no matter what anyone does. So sorry you are unhappy, you should just move out

Responding to the response: Dear Anonymous, Your response is shows an acceptance of the mediocre. I am NOT unhappy (please re-read the last line of my review). Moving to where the grass is greener is the way every renter in Dallas functions, and it doesn't work. This is my HOME. I do my part. I pay my rent on time, am quiet and I think friendly, I keep up my yard, I do not damage my apartment, I clean up after my dogs, etc. I just ask that, for above market rent, Henry S Miller do their part. And as a final note, I certainly hope your anonymous response to my review does not come from a member of the management of Sycamore Tree. Thank You and I will be here a while.
