Just as a response to the previous post. I know for a fact that the guy who posted before is not a leasing agent. He is my friend and just a happy resident here. I have also lived here over a year and the services and people are great. I live in the Flats building and can say that I never hear my neighbors and the biggest maintanance issue I have ever had was a loose toilet seat. It was fixed by the time I got home the night I put the request in. It's really sad to me that people go on here and bash an entire property based on their own personal issues. When I leased, it was explained to me if I chose the Lofts building, that my movers would use the stairs to move me in if it was a lower floor. I chose the Flats building and everyone uses a service elevator to move into that building, since it is a highrise and the first 4 floors are the garages. I love my apartment and I feel totally spoiled with how much space and all of the convienences that I have living here. To those reading the negative reviews, I suggest you ask the leasing staff about your concerns before excluding this place from your list. It is a fabulous place to live!

i love this unsolicited defense of a previous positive post....could you guys not be so obvious when posting comments? the least you could do is not rate everything 5 stars when it's so clear that the tenants who live here (including me) are not crazy about this place. we were sold a bill of goods - the security here is just plain awful. if you value your car or the belongings inside...if you value a good nights sleep...if you value your privacy and hate thin walls then DO NOT LIVE HERE. There are a ton of other, nicer, more fairly priced buildings in Dallas. This place is incredibly overpriced...who the hell would pay 2$/sq foot to live next to the mall?
oh i almost forgot...have fun driving on the weekends...the park ln exit will be PACKED because of people going to the mall and shops under the apartments...it will wear incredibly thin on you when you literall have to wait in stopped traffic for 20-30 mins just to get to the parking garage...sounds fun, doesn't it?
DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Please check police report for any apartments that you rent in the state of Texas. Most of the reponse that I received from this message are men. You be the judge of your saftey. Do you want to rent a place where women are being beaten in their apartments or being rapped. You be the judge of your safety.

I am a female and I have pulled a full police report. There are no instances of anyone being rapped or beaten at The Heights. I have no worries or concerns about this happening and it would never even cross my mind. People need to get their facts straight before spreading rumors.
